No. Prices are USD, billed via Stripe. If your region requires VAT/GST, Stripe Tax calculates it transparently at checkout — never as a surprise on your invoice.
Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by Stripe. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current cycle so you keep paid-tier access until then. Your trade history is preserved either way.
If something doesn't work as advertised in the first 14 days, write to hello@thejournal.app and we'll refund you. After 14 days we don't issue blanket refunds — but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
Every paid plan supports a single org with multiple members. Elite supports unlimited members per org. We're building dedicated team billing — drop us a line if you need it sooner.
Yes — through the Stripe Customer Portal. Switching to annual immediately re-bills you at the discounted rate; switching to monthly takes effect at the next renewal.
